Roll a #d12, get an #8: to kick it all off for 2022, it’s Vegeta - Dragonball.
Did a TON of rough designs on this, possibly more than any I’ve attempted so far, but it was worth it landing on the inspiration for this one. Seeing I was struggling with design choices, @ravenouscurves suggested “#SuperSaiyan Level 4” and I came up with something utterly ridiculous: the #AngryMonkey from #FamilyGuy!
Once I had the notion it all popped into place… Much to her chagrin LOL!

Introducing: Goth Stan…Lee!
(Yeah, I went there! Mwah ha ha ha!)
Lemme tell ya, mixing the very particular visual styles of South Park and my QT Chunks was one helluva challenge. Either it was too much one way, or the other; doesn’t translate as the character at all; picking which traits speak out as the definitive details that are the hallmark for the character. (I have a *much* greater appreciation for caricature artists!)
Then outta nowhere: boom! #Inspiration
There’s a half dozen get-there concepts that are not being showcased here. So let’s look at what is:
Lee: The mustache, the glasses, the white shirt under the sweater-vest, a Spidey logo. Then look at the OG Goth Stan from SP: The hat, eyes, dark clothing. Mix it all up… Add a double twist on the shirt with Venom instead of Spidey (or is that the band? LOL)
Then fuck it all up *masterfully* with a #JackKirby Captain America pose, tweaked (ha!) out in a last minute stroke of genius, if I do say so myself. #patontheback

I fucking LOVE this. My initial #concept was pretty spot on, with the minor exception of a *major* technicality: #TARDIS doors open inwards, not out… I’d be trolled endlessly for that error I’m sure, if not by #Whovians, it’d haunt me regardless.
